Phoenix Preparatory Preschool has openings in the Infant room, 3 yr old, and 4/5 yr old classrooms.
Debra, our new, 2 year old teacher has worked out well! I think she will be with us for a long time. The Center is growing, and I am working on hiring 1 - 2 new employees.

Our Mission Statement Phoenix Preparatory Preschool offers a quality child care program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that facilitate and nurture the individual needs and abilities of each child. We realize our obligation is twofold - first to the child and then to the parents.
Our mission to our students is:
- Excel academically
- Develop a valid sense of self. They are encouraged to try, think, act with increasing independence and be successful
- Build physical strength, coordination and motor skills
- Develop sound eating, resting and toileting habits

| Director’s Biography |

As an educator, I taught in schools for 8 years and was nominated for Arizona teacher of the year in 1998-1999. The child’s educational potential is of the utmost concern.
Our goal is to ensure the children graduating from our Preparatory Preschool leave with high academic skills, allowing them to pursue an education at the best schools Phoenix has to offer. We strive to instill a love of learning that will follow them through their educational career.
Student progress is evaluated on a monthly basis to verify there are no gaps in learning.
Enrichment time is offered and includes Chinese Language, Kung Fu, and Music.

Phoenix Preparatory Preschool is an academic child care and preschool, regulated by ADHS and is a DES participant. We accept children from 4 weeks to 7 years and are open from 6am to 6:30pm.
The Director has a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, taught in public schools for 8 years and was nominated for Arizona teacher of the year in 1998-1999.
Our teachers are highly trained with an average of 5 years experience teaching in child care facilities.
We have high expectations of our students. Children are required to be dropped of by 8:30am, so they may participate in the morning recess. This allows the children to burn off their extra energy, so they may focus on the day’s tasks.
Children are taught English phonics, writing, mathematics concepts, science, reading readiness skills, geography, Chinese, sign language, hygiene, appropriate interpersonal interactions, appropriate classroom behavior, and a love of learning!
Chinese Language is introduced at the Two year old level and additional Mandarin classes are available.
Why we are not a daycare; at Phoenix Preparatory Preschool focuses on educating children, not warehousing children. We are a licensed child care provider and abide by Arizona Department of Health Services child care ratios or fewer children per teacher!!! |
